Staff
Associate Director: Michelle Carr is responsible for all leasing matters (including license management, rental payments, and delinquency / collections) and Marketing for Tubman and Paca Houses. Prior to joining the team in August of 2008, Michelle was an Account Coordinator for Hanover Uniform for 5 years. Michelle attended the Community College of Baltimore County and the University of Baltimore and studied Business Administration and Accounting.
Assistant Director of Administration: Kristen Samec
Facilities Director: Chenal (Al) Alford is responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance, renovation and repair. Al supervises the Housekeeper (year-round) and Maintenance Assistants (during the Summer). Previously, Al was a Building Engineer for Provident Bank. Al opened Millennium Hall in the Fall of 2000 and has a breadth of wisdom, experience, and dedication that truly benefits our community and residents.
Director, University Affiliated Housing: Jennifer Alvarez Hornbuckle is responsible for a full range of strategic and management tasks for the leasing, maintenance and personnel operations of Millennium Hall, Paca House and Tubman House. Prior to becoming the Director in August of 2011, Jennifer was the Assistant Director of Housing Operations at American University for two years and a Residence Life Coordinator at Towson University for three years. Jennifer has a bachelors degree in Psychology and Africana Studies and a masters degree in Educational Administration and Policy Studies, both from the University at Albany in New York.
