Leasing Process for the 2010-11 Academic Year
$3,302 per person per semester ($6,604 per person per academic year)
CURRENT RESIDENTS
February 15 - 19th , 9AM- 4PM
Licenses, Intention Forms, & Housing Acceptance forms are made available to current residents. They are due back to main office along with a $325.00 Reservation fee. Anyone who does not return forms by the deadline (2/19, 4pm) will not be able to choose a room in the internal process.
With your Intention form, you will indicate if you wish to stay in your current unit or change to a different unit. You will also tell us whom you want to live with. At this point you can request to pull in new residents from outside of West Village.
PULL INS
February 22- 26th, 9AM-4PM. Students being pulled in by current West Village residents can reserve their rooms at this point by turning in an Application, Tenant Profile, Housing Acceptance form, License, Parental Guarantee form, copy of Parental Guarantor driver’s license, and $325.00 Reservation fee.
NEW APPLICANTS
February 22-26th, 9AM-4PM. New Applicants who are not being pulled in by current residents can enter the application processat this time. Upon submitting a Tenant Profile Sheet and Application, Applicants will be placed in a lottery for a spot in West Vilage.
HOUSING OFFER
March 2nd. Housing offers will be made to applicants via email.
LICENSE SIGNING
March 2nd-March 5th. Students who have been notified via e-mail that they received a bed space in the lottery need to submit a signed License, $325.00 Reservation fee, Housing Acceptance form, Parental Guarantee form, and a copy of Guarantor’s driver’s license to secure a bed space.
ADDITIONAL OFFERS
March 9-12th. A second offer will be made for any remaining spots from students who didn’t secure their spot by the deadline. Offers will continue throughout the semester until all spots are filled.
Assignments will be based on rules noted below.
GENERAL RULES
1. Participation in the leasing process does not guarantee you a spot in West Village for next year. Only students who submit all documents and fees reserve a spot in the building.
2. The Management of West Village reserves the right to change the process as needed and reserves the right to make all final assignments.
3. Residents/applicants must be a fulltime (or full time equivalent) registered student at Towson University.
4. If students didn’t receive a spot during the initial round of offers, they may email beginning March 8th, living@westvillage.com to find out their status on the waitlist. Waitlist status will not be given prior to March 8th. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response to waitlist status requests due to volume of inquiries.
